Story & Ending Explained
In ancient Greece, Kallisa flees her father's brothel sale. A veiled night with drugged demigod prince Heron marks her with a golden sun sigil and leaves her pregnant. She bears son Lyros, unaware Heron is the father. Disguised as a palace laundress, she hides two taboos punishable by death, a secret child and infertility. When Apollo demands an heir or the city loses its light, three trials expose her. Kallisa refuses to sacrifice Lyros. Apollo sees his sun mark and declares him the heir.
